Description of Service

QuickConvert provides a free, browser-based file conversion tool that supports 28+ conversion combinations including PDF, WebP, SVG, GIF, BMP, HEIC, and standard image formats. All conversions are processed client-side in your browser without uploading files to our servers.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use QuickConvert only for lawful purposes. You may NOT:

  • Use the Service to convert copyrighted material without proper authorization
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service excessively
  • Upload malicious files (viruses, malware) for conversion
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers

No Warranty

⚠️ The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties

We make no guarantees about accuracy, reliability, or availability of conversions.

QuickConvert is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Warranties of non-infringement
  • Warranties that the Service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted
  • Warranties regarding the accuracy or quality of conversions

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuickConvert and its operators shall not be liable for:

  • Data loss: Loss or corruption of files during conversion
  • Quality issues: Degraded output quality or failed conversions
  • Browser compatibility: Issues arising from unsupported browsers
  • Indirect damages: Lost profits, business interruption, or consequential damages
  • Third-party content: Actions by advertisers or other third parties

You are responsible for backing up your original files. We recommend keeping copies of important files before conversion.

Intellectual Property

The QuickConvert website, design, and code are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain full ownership of files you convert using the Service. We claim no rights to your files.

Open-source libraries used by QuickConvert (jsPDF, Canvg, gifshot, etc.) are licensed under their respective open-source licenses.

Advertising

QuickConvert displays third-party advertisements (Monetag, Google AdSense) to support free service operation. Advertisers are responsible for their own content and offers. We do not endorse any advertised products or services.

File Size and Browser Limits

Conversion capabilities are limited by your browser's memory and processing power. Large files (typically >50MB) may fail or cause browser crashes. Recommended limits:

  • Images: Up to 25 MB
  • Videos (MP4 to GIF): Up to 15 seconds or 20 MB
  • PDFs: Up to 50 pages or 30 MB

Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99%+ uptime, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues beyond our control.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Service at any time, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of QuickConvert after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date when changes are made.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation.
